No. More like the green one, mistakenly picked before its time. Being a novice gardener, I dashed Izzy's plans of having our first pumpkin patch. I had forgotten that he had planted some random pumpkin seeds here and there. After picking our strange "zucchini", Izzy decided he would compare it to pictures in his pumpkin book.
Looks suspiciously like what was growing in our garden. When I saw the picture I felt terrible but he was surprisingly calm about it. Perhaps because there are still some blossoms left and we have hopes of another one growing. Send the bees over to pollinate!
